Greet your guests with donning your Mickey ears and the tots are sure to crack a smile. For those all or nothing moms and dads, dress in full Minnie and Mickey attire. This is sure to make for great photo ops as little ones line up to have their photos taken with the Disney crew.

DECORATIONS

Black and red are great choices for the mickey mouse birthday party colors, not to mention my favorite color combo, like you care. For the traditional color scheme, you’ll want to opt for blue, red and yellow. Irrespective of the color combo you choose, just be sure to use lots of balloons and streamers to liven up that party room.

To eliminate the white wall effect, just hang Disney posters on the walls. Cut out of card stock or poster board the number one and various shapes and hang these on the walls. You could also string them up and create garlands and ceiling danglers.

Leave the solid colored party ware for another day and opt for an adorable baby Mickey design. The more color and drawings the better, which will keep the party toddler-friendly.

If you truly want the solids, then a black or red tablecloth with a runner in the opposite color could be used. Make a table centerpiece with a big Mylar bouquet attached to a Mickey toy.

A pull-string pinata is the perfect table decoration and can be used also as an activity at game time.

Make a Mickey banner containing a special birthday message and hang it on a prominent wall.

Huge Mickey decals affixed to the party walls can later be transferred to your baby’s bedroom walls when the party is over.

MICKEY CAKE

Make three round cakes. The ears will be two smaller rounds. Cover a piece of heavy cardboard with foil and place the cooled cakes on it in the shape of Mickey’s head. Cover them with black frosting or fondant. Create Mickey’s face with fondant or pipe it out of frosting using a picture of Mr. Mickey as a guide.

ACTIVITIES

Bubbles - Entertain the troops with a bubble show. Hire some teens to blow the bubble and make big body bubbles to encase the babies into.

Pin The Ears On Mickey - Pin the Tail on the Donkey is your guide. All you need is a poster of Mickey Mouse and some construction paper Mickey ears with double-stick tape to pin.
